Our Mission

 We are a group of born again Christians that seek to fulfill the Great Commission in the Glenford community (along with other Bible believing churches) for Jesus Christ.

Our "Personality"

We are striving to be a church like the ones modeled in the book of Acts.  We recognize that there are cultural and technological differences that will cause us to be different.  But where possible, we try emulate the example given.  We believe that if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are our brother or sister in Christ and we desire to have fellowship with you.  We enjoy contemporary worship as well as traditional (hymns).  We currently meet at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Glenford on Sundays at 10 am.

We believe that we are only a small part of the Body of Christ in the world today.  We have a flourishing family atmosphere that enhances our praise and worship and our fellowship with one another.  Our Sunday morning involves prayer, worship, and preaching/teaching.  We for the most part study through the books of the Bible from beginning to end.  This allows us to touch on many subjects important to people today.  It is our goal to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable in our fellowship.  We endeavor to follow the pattern of Ephesians 4:11-16

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

We accomplish this by;

• Sunday school class for young children during the preaching
• We use contemporary worship music as well as hymns in our worship
• We are a young and very active fellowship and try to be flexible to accommodate the busy schedules of today's families.
